CHEAT CANYON CAMPGROUND
The premier place to camp when you are visiting North Central West Virginia.
Whether you are booking a trip with one of the nearby rafting companies, planning other recreational activities, here to attend one or more of the many festivals in the area, or just here for a get-away, a stay at Cheat Canyon Campground will put you in the center of it all.
We have over 10 acres of level grassy camping area located along side the mighty Cheat River in Albright, West Virginia. Six (6) of our campsites offer 30 Amp electrical service hook-up.

Cheat Canyon Campground is located on the eastern bank of the Cheat River, just north of Albright, Preston County, West Virginia on State Route 26. Just 12 miles south on Route 26 from I-68 Exit 23, Bruceton Mills, WV. We are just 4 miles north of Kingwood, WV on Route 26. We are centrally located between West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV and Deep Creek Lake in Maryland.

Campers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
At this time, we are not credit card ready, so please bring cash.

CheatFest Weekend (May 3 - 4, 2008) has its own rules and regulations:
For both Friday night 05/02 & Saturday night 05/03: $15.00 per person aged 13 and over
For Saturday night 05/03 only: $10.00 per person aged 13 and over
Well behaved and friendly pets are welcome to camp with their parents. The pets must be on a leash or staking device at all times and never left unattended at camp. There is no charge for pets; we only ask that you clean up after them.
